Ocean Drive

Ocean Drive is located in the heart of North Myrtle Beach and is referred to by the locals as "OD." The Main Street of Ocean Drive is home to unique boutiques, restaurants,'Fat Harold's Beach Club', and festivals throughout the year. The Society of Stranders (SOS) host two, week long events annually that attract thousands of devoted Shaggers to this area. The Shag, a cross between the jitterbug and swing, is the offical South Carolina State Dance and originated in The City of North Myrtle Beach. The Ocean Drive section is also conveniently located to The Horry County Library-North Myrtle Beach, the city's municipal complex, and the North Myrtle Beach Post Office.
